Other applications include hydrocarbon detection and monitoring in oil\/water separators, cooling water trenches, storm water runoffs, retention ponds, boiler condensate tanks, and wastewater sewer systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The ID-223 sensor has a high frequency transmitter that is maintained at the air\/water interface and transmits a signal to the grounding antenna located below the water surface. The ID-223 can detect a 0.3 mm (0.01 inch) oil layer and continues to measure layer growth up to 20 mm (1 inch).
